Catherine Perry

Catherine Perry is the founder and director of the company.

She has worked as a freelance graphic designer, translator and typesetter for many years before setting up the company. She has been involved in all aspects of the projects she worked on, from the initial design of a document through to translation, typesetting and quality control, dealing with the overall management of those projects.

She has over 15 years expertise in managing and coordinating complex and demanding projects. Many of were translated and typeset in 30 different languages or more.

Catherine has worked on projects for well-known companies world-wide, such as Dräger Medical AG, WMF, NEFF, Herbalife Inc., Sthill AG, etc.

Catherine has also had a successful career as a sports teacher/trainer. She is a qualified horse riding teacher and holds a degree in human physiology/biology. She has been involved in the training of horses taking part in competitions such as the World Championships, The Olympic Games, The European championships as well as other National Championships.

Catherine speaks fluently French, English, German and has linguistic knowledge and visual determination of many more languages and language groups.

She has worked and lived in France, Switzerland, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany and the UK and has also traveled extensively.

Andrea Vine

Andrea is american. She recently joined French Kiss Design as an external consultant as Software Internationalisation Engineer /Technical Design Architect.

Andrea is a senior software engineer trained in Silicon Valley and specializing in an area called internationalisation, often abbreviated i18n (there are 18 letters between the i and the n).

She helps engineers design and develop their software so that a single code base works for markets around the world. She create plans for improving existing software as well as writing new products, training the engineers and fixing problems so that future code will not need reworking. She works with localisation and translation specialists to translate the user interface and documentation into other languages. 

Andrea has worked with multinational companies and offices in Japan, China, India, Ireland, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy.  She has lived in Germany. She has also traveled extensively for business and pleasure to the US, Canada, Russia, Northern Caucasus, Georgia, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Western Europe, Yucatan Peninsula, the Caribbean, Japan, India, France, Ireland and Great Britain.

Andrea is conversant in English, German, Russian, Italian, French, Swahili, Japanese and has linguistic knowledge and visual determination of many more languages and language groups.

Our translators

We have put together a team of translators of exceptional quality and expertise. Before any of them works with us they have to undergo a series of test to prove they have the knowledge and expertise we are looking for. To ensure their professionalism and discretion, they all have to sign a confidentiality agreement.
